Fibromyalgia affects an estimated 4 million people in the US. Although 75 to 90 percent affected are women—Fibomyalgia also occurs in men and children of all ethnic groups. It is one of the most common chronic pain conditions. (1)
Fibromyalgia is chronic, widespread pain and stiffness all over the body. It causes sleep problems fatigue and often emotional and mental stress.
